Dodge: All-Wheel-Drive American Muscle

Nothing says power like the rich history of the American muscle car. In 2018, most muscle cars are driven by rear wheel drive power. Dodge is the only car manufacturer to offer a line of all-wheel drive muscle cars, the Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger.

The Charger comes in heavy with a few options for engines. The Charger begins with a 3.6-liter V-6 sporting 300 horsepower. The next option in the Charger comes in a 5.7-liter V-8 with 370 horsepower. To top the line off, the Charger SRT model features a whopping 6.4-liter V-8 engine weighing in at 485 horsepower. The Dodge Challenger features all three of the Challenger motors plus an additional 6.2-liter V-8 motor in the Challenger Hellcat and Demon models that outputs 707 horsepower in the Hellcat and 840 horsepower in the Demon.

If it is pure American muscle that you’re after, stop by C.H. Urness Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in The Dalles to test drive the all-wheel-drive Charger or Challenger of your choice.
