On May 23, 2025, our 2017 Dodge Ram EcoDiesel was towed to CH Urness Dodge after it was determined a recall issue caused the truck to break down. Despite being in their care for over four weeks, we received no proactive updates and constant missed time lines. We had to chase information ourselves.

We have had all of our vehicles serviced at the Dalles dealership for 25 years and have never received such poor service as this past year. There is no communication from the service dept on the status of our vehicles even though we call to check in. Our truck has been in the shop more than it has been out in the past 3 months due to improper repairs having to be done again. Very disappointed in the level of service and communication at this service dept.
Arianna Walker and the entire sales staff was great to work with. Our buying experience was the best we were ever had. We will be back in the future.
Got us in quickly, and gave us an honest answer as to what needed fixed, in what order of priority.

Purschased my Jeep a few years ago, go back for regular service, they always scheduled my appointments on the date, and time I request, even when they are short staffed they still get my oil change in a timely manner. Front desk staff is super friendly and welcoming.
My truck had a death problem I got there 2:00 in the afternoon they got me out the next morning treated me great I will definitely go back
Very pleasant buying expensive with a new Jeep.
We scheduled a oil change a week before expecting we would get there and they would do it right away because that is why we scheduled an appointment. We entered the office, asked how long it was going to take and they said “it will take about 45 minutes”. It took them an hour and a half to change the oil and it took them 30 minutes to take the truck into the garage. Why even schedule an appointment at that point.
This review is pending. My vehicle is currently at CH Urness for service of 2015 WK2 EcoDiesel high pressure fuel pump replacment (under extended factory warranty). The part has along lead time, and was originally quoted 70 days for part arrival with no date confirmed for actual service and replacement. My grandparents and aunt & uncle have been buy Ram, Dodge and Jeep at Urness for over 60 years with no complaints heard from them.
Haven't even bought a vehicle yet and we are so pleased with how well they treated us. No pushy salesman or crazy tactics. We will see how well the rest of the process goes!

The worst service I have ever experienced. I was misled, they fired my service rep and did no tell me. When I checked on my vehicle they said the rep was no longer there and had no Idea why my vehicle was there. It had been there for over a week. They new rep informed me after finding the paperwork they could not do all of the service I was promised. I had them fix what they could. Was having issue with truck, wouldn’t turn. Got it to dodge and had a service front desk man come look at it. He told me was an electrical issue and couldn’t get it in til Monday. I was in The Dalles this morning, and my van started making a horrible noise. I went in and asked them to look at it. The guys in the service department figured it was a rock in the brakes, so they popped the wheel off and got the rock out for me. Less than 15 minutes, and free of charge. I might just start heading to The Dalles for my service work.
I want every one to know how great this place is. I was broke down, and a long long way from home my water pump went out of my Dodge truck. Towing a fifth wheel trailer, the wonderful people in there shop got me back on the road in about two hours. Dang! Pulled into a rest area on I-84 just west of The Dalles, Oregon and the water pump in my '09 Dodge Ram gave up the ghost. What to do? Called Urness Chrysler Dodge to see what they could do for me. Scott Jackson, the service manager, said if I could get towed in his mechanic would take care of me. For all I know, he might have just getting some maintenance done on his truck. I DO know the owners of CH Urness though. I grew up with the entire family, although not a close friend of the family. They are All honest and competent people. I've known most all of them for around 40 years or more. Good people, the Urness'.

I don't believe any of the one star ratings because this will be the third vehicle we have gotten from them. I came here to get my recall checked up on my new vehicle. I was treated with respect and they were consistently making sure that we were happy and not needing anything... like water, soda or popcorn. Had an 8 AM appointment for truck service. Truck sat for 45 minutes before it was moved in to the shop. This happened last time I was here also. Truck was supposed to be finished at 11 AM. They gave it to me at 12 noon and said all the work had not been done. This never happened in 2016 on my visits. I won't be going back again. I give them zero stars but you have select one.

Urness motors, followed up and called me to say they had an Eco diesel RAM 1500 arrive and if I wanted to brave the snow n slush, "come take for a test drive" (out of 5 dealers only two bothered to even call back).
Ram Eco diesels trucks are HOT. NO DISCOUNTS at Portland or Seattle dealer ......RAM Ecodiesels go for sticker/window price selling sameday they roll off factory delivery trucks(6 to 9 week wait to order one, get in line).

I can't believe this dealer is profitable. I wanted to buy a new jeep (40k) and had to drive an hour away to buy the car at another jeep dealership because the sales department here is not motivated whatsoever. I tried to spend money in parts (accessories) and couldn't get anyone knowledgable to help me. When I went in for service the first time they forgot to connect some wires and I had to go back, the second time they didn't check to make sure they had the parts instock when scheduling my appointment.

Voided my warranty on my truck for items that were on it when I purchased it. Claimed that the ECU had been tampered with and that there was NO WAY that the factory settings would alow the reading that were on the ECU. I took this info to 3 other dealerships and they ALL said that it was within factory specs and should have been covered under my warranty.
